The North Dakota Division of Community Services (DCS) is assigned the administrative responsibility for updating and amending the North Dakota State Building Code. In addition, staff within DCS handle inquiries from local officials, building professionals, and the general public on the state building code. Technical assistance is also provided through workshops and other educational opportunities sponsored by the office.
